Nursing Professional Development Manager
Responsible for overseeing nursing staff onboarding/orientation programs, competency assessment and management programs, and patient outcomes improvement efforts at the facility/unit level.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Willing to obtain MSN within 3 years of hire.
Licenses and Certification: Current Illinois RN License. Certification in Nursing Professional Development required within 2 years of hire.
Experience and Skills: Nursing Education/Professional Development - 2 years. Leadership/Supervisory Experience - 2 years.
Role Specific Responsibilities: Supervises and directs service line nursing professional development outcomes leaders (SL NPDOLs). Selects, trains, develops, disciplines and evaluates employees as well as delegates their work assignments.
