Job Description
Summary
- Department: RMC 5 NW Ortho Neuro
- Shift Timings: 19:00-07:30 Hours 3 days 12 hour shift (Monday- Friday)
- Per Week: 36 Hours
- Ortho-Neuro-tele unit 30 beds ratio 1:5 plus admissions/discharges May float to like units dependent on census/staffing work every other weekend and every other holiday; weekend sick calls require make up the following weekend EPIC BLS-ACLS-NIHSS
- Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
