Job Description
An RN in Telemetry is a licensed registered nurse who provides care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. They use telemetry equipment to track heart rhythms and quickly identify abnormalities such as arrhythmias or cardiac events. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, interpreting telemetry data, and responding to changes in patient condition. Telemetry RNs work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to manage cardiac and other medical conditions.
