SCOPE OF POSITION

Responsible for development of work methods, processes and operating procedures to improve quality, productivity and reduce waste. Designs, observes, documents and evaluates trial runs and recommends modifications. Assists in the start up of modifications and training of operators in their use.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Functional Responsibilities

• Observes specific production runs for work methods, processes and operating procedures and documents what is taking place.
• Designs and conducts experiments to establish relationships between control parameters and production results, both for quality and productivity.
• Documents observations of trial runs, writes or assists in writing final report on trials and justifications for new equipment.
