THE ROLE
The primary purpose of the Safety Advisor role is to provide support and advice to the operations team.
Specific Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing regional plans to advance towards our goal of Zero Harm Supporting organisational change in safety behaviour and culture to achieve the highest levels of employee engagement on safety matters Conduct a comprehensive risk assessment of the scope of operations, including mining operations, working environment, current work practices and procedures Assist site personnel in the development of site and task specific risk assessments, operational procedures and work instruction and conduct ongoing reviews of the effectiveness and compliance to risk control measures.
