Job Description
Summary This position is located on a Forest Service Civilian Conservation Center. The incumbent serves as a Safety and Occupational Health Manager and is responsible for planning ,directing, coordinating, and evaluating a 24-hour safety and occupational health program. Responsibilities Plans, organizes, coordinates, directs, evaluates, and financially advises on a comprehensive safety and occupational health program. Develops and prepares annual local safety and occupational health plans through adaptation of DOL and Forest Service instructions and policies; prepares program of work and associated budget. Addresses procedures for regulatory compliance and Center-wide use, e.g., Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure plans, Hazardous Waste Minimization, Pollution Prevention plans, Environmental Protection and Enhancement Regulation and OSHA.
