Taylor Hopkinson is currently supporting an international renewable energy company in the search for a
Safety Manager
to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the
planning and delivery
of
large-scale renewable energy projects in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities Lead implementation of HSE strategy across renewable projects (solar, BESS, wind) Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (ISO 45001 / 14001) Oversee HSE performance during project development and construction phases Manage and audit EPC contractors and subcontractors on safety matters Conduct risk assessments (HAZID, JSA) and define mitigation actions Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective/preventive actions Perform regular site inspections and HSE audits Deliver safety training and promote a strong safety culture Monitor and report HSE KPIs to management and investors Support emergency preparedness and response planning
