Job Description
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor compliance with DOLE OSH standards, construction safety guidelines, and company safety programs.
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit safety reports to management as required.
- Investigate work-related incidents, accidents, or near-misses, and recommend preventive measures.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations for workers.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers.
- Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to enforce safety rules.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years working experience
- Computer literate for report generation
- Knowledgeable in OSH standards by DOLE
- Preferably knows how to drive and has a driver’s license (restrictions 1 & 2)
