Job Description
Cementation Africa invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Safety Officer Projects to be placed in Tharisa Mine. The successful candidate will report to the Safety Manager. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.
Responsibilities
- Conducting investigations and recording findings
- Understanding of accident / incident techniques
- Carrying out the duties as prescribed in the Act
- Informing management regarding any unsafe working conditions
- Compiling reports to line management regarding unsafe acts and conditions
