Safety Officer (WSHO)

To be responsible for WSHO activities in the following :

• Support the Project Manager in the overall implementation of the ISO EHS Management System.
• Implement EHS measures in accordance with applicable legislative requirements and/or specific risk assessment & safework procedures.
• Conduct monthly mass toolbox meetings to enhance EHS awareness among workers.
• Co-ordinate with Safety Co-ordinator, Environment Control Officer and Lifting Supervisor on day-to-day EHS activities at site.
• Collates summary data from EHS inspection failures by EHS personnel (MOM / NEA summons /court orders / demerit points / EHS incidents / accidents ) to perform data analysis (root cause analysis) to facilitate problem-solving (recommendations on corrective actions) for continual improvement.
• Follow-up daily EHS inspection with subcontracted safety coordinator and maintain its records.
