Safety Supervisor (Health Policy #)

Responsible for providing advanced support to the Safety Manager in directing activities associated with ensuring the health and safety of Butterball team members. Aids in the design and processes to reduce risk of injuries and promote team member well‑being. Responsible for training team members to ensure compliance with directives and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Supervises the day‑to‑day activities of a team of entry level individual contributors. Provides guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful completion of tasks. Participates in HR activities such as hiring, terminations, performance management, goal setting, team member development, scheduling, etc. Enforces systems, policies, and procedures.
Identifies training needs and facilitates the creation and execution of facility wide safety training and resource distribution.
Monitors compliance with facility, corporate, and regulatory compliance ensuring team members work in safe and efficient methods.
