Job Description
Highwoods surgery is looking to recruit a GP for 2 sessions a week. The successful applicant will be working alongside (full time) 3 partners, 4 nurse practitioners, clinical pharmacists, with the full support of our nurses, HCAs, reception and admin team.
Main duties of the job
- In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, home visits, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, reasonable paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion
- Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation
