**Job Title: Blast Room Operator**
**Job Description**
The Blast Room Operator supports a surge in production by preparing, blasting, and finishing metal parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work in teams of two to three in a fully enclosed blast room, using industrial sandblasting equipment, overhead cranes, and forklifts to handle parts ranging from 40 to 1,000 pounds. This role includes training on day shift for one to two weeks and offers the opportunity to build valuable industrial and mechanical skills.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare metal parts for the blast room according to work orders and job specifications.
+ Read and interpret prints to understand product requirements and blasting details.
+ Handle and move parts weighing from 40 pounds up to 1,000 pounds using an overhead crane and forklift.
+ Rig material safely to ensure secure lifting, proper positioning, and safe movement of parts.
