Satellite Systems Engineer (Mid-Level, Lead)

Position Summary

Satellite Systems Engineer – Lead position supporting global military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) ground systems that manage transmission of secure, anti‑jam waveforms over B&W WGS satellites and terminals. The engineer will be based in Schriever, CO, and lead a small team for platform operations and engineering of 10 on‑orbit satellites.

Position Responsibilities

• Advise customers on satellite operation and maintenance.
• Advise customers on ground command and control system operations.
• Participate in technical meetings, author database entries, and software change requests.
• Perform ground computer system software and database testing.
• Author, maintain, review, and support satellite operations procedures; configure and run simulations to support procedure validation.
