The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking an outstanding physician researcher to accelerate health services or population health research across three outstanding Divisions, Pediatric Hospital Medicine, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and Academic General Pediatrics, within the Department of Pediatrics. This leadership position will drive the divisions and Departments strategic goal to grow research through leadership and mentorship of faculty and fellows, as well as participate in clinical care.The Division of Academic General Pediatrics has a vibrant faculty with a variety of academic
interests, including medical education, advocacy, quality improvement, residency education, use of
simulation for medical training, and informatics. Clinical interests beyond general pediatrics
