The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is inviting applications for a clinician scientist with expertise in pediatric hematology. The ideal candidate will have an established research focus or aspirations to develop an extramurally funded research career in clinical/translational science. Applicants should be BC/BE in pediatric hematology-oncology. Clinical effort/research time, rank, salary and tenure status is commensurate with qualifications.The Pediatric Hematology section is a component of the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology division and UAB Department of Pediatrics. The successful applicant will join the current 28-member division including six pediatric hematology focused faculty members, five CRNPs, two psychology clinical investigators, and six pediatric hematology-oncology fellows.
