The School of Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications and nominations for a full-time nursing faculty position in womens health nursing.Candidates for this faculty position with expertise in womens health nursing are encouraged to apply. A minimum of a doctorate degree in nursing or a related field is required. Applicants must be licensed and certified as a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner. Rank, tenure, and salary are competitive and commensurate with professional background and experience. Candidates must hold an unencumbered registered nurse license in the state of Alabama or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama. Faculty may elect different degrees of emphasis on the teaching, service and scholarship components of the faculty role.
