ADMINISTRATIVE RELATIONSHIPS

• Directly responsible to Coordinator of Special Education for assignment to schools and for supervision, development, and evaluation of professional functions.
• Directly responsible to building principal or high school assistant principal for performance of delegated functions in the schools.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate learning and personality development through assessment and evaluation of students as prescribed by the State and District.
• Testing, identification, certification, and periodic re-evaluation of Educationally Handicapped, Educable and Trainable Mentally Retarded, and Academically Talented students.
