Hays Education is working in partnership with a secondary school in Wembley to recruit a Teaching Assistant with a First Aid qualification to provide temporary cover in the school welfare room from May 2026.This role will involve supporting students’ medical and wellbeing needs throughout the school day, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Your new role

Supporting the day-to-day running of the school welfare room

Providing first aid to students in line with school policies and procedures

Supporting students with medical conditions as required

Working confidently with secondary-age students

Liaising with teaching staff and pastoral teams when necessary

Maintaining accurate records of incidents and care provided

Essential:

Valid First Aid qualification
