Job Description
In RISM, we expect the Scientific Assistant to support hands-on learning by preparing experiment setups, maintaining robotics and science equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring strict safety protocols.
As a scientific Assistant, you will encourage students curiosity in the Lab and assist them in honing their skills for investigation.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Set up apparatus, kits, and materials (Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Sciences and CS&AI) ahead of scheduled practical classes.
Assist the academic staff, during demonstrations and guide students in troubleshooting experiments or STEM projects.
Clean, sterilize, and calibrate equipment, reporting any hardware/software failures or repair needs immediately.
Enforce stringent lab safety rules, manage hazardous material disposal, and ensure first aid/fire safety kits are stocked.
Document safety protocol for the specific Lab and train the Academic staff and students periodically on the protocol (2 times...
