Job Description
Summary
The Data Science team is leading an internal SMART factory implementation. The selected candidate will be a part of a dynamic team working closely with factory operations, engineering and platform development team to deliver a factory of the future. This is a unique opportunity to be part of Western Digital’s Industry 4.0 journey and change the way technology is used.
Responsibilities
- Work with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, process & product engineers, design engineers, etc. collaboratively to develop new data science solutions that improve productivity and operations metrics.
- Research and develop scalable Generative‑AI solutions using the AWS Bedrock platform, Large Language Models (LLM), MCP Server, n8n and prompt engineering for factory/engineering usage.
