Shift: Days, 7:30am to 4:00pm
Location: St. Mary Medical Center

**Position Purpose**

+ The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property.

**As a Security Officer you will:**

+ Be responsible for fire prevention and initial response measures.
+ Maintains safety practices in the area of his/her assignment.
+ Have oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center)
+ Handle Duties associated with the Operation of Metal Detector and Wanding
+ Other Duties as directed by the supervisor

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ HS graduate or equivalent required
+ 1-year previous security experience required
+ 1 year of hospital-based experience highly preferred.
