Security Team Specialist I

The Metro Boston Area Department of Mental Health (DMH) is currently hiring for the position of Security Team Specialist I. *Please Note*: This position is 40 hours per week, working the third shift (11:00pm - 7:00 am). Days off are Thursday and Friday. *_Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):_* * Patrols all buildings, grounds, and adjacent areas of the hospital at regular intervals and guards against trespass, theft, fire, and damage to property. * Maintains order among visitors and staff; maintains motor vehicle traffic controls on hospital grounds including parking, speeding and other traffic conditions and takes necessary measures to prevent unauthorized use of hospital roads and parking facilities. * Performs security duties such as screening visitors, directing traffic, and enforcing parking controls. * Provides personal protection to individuals as required including but not limited to, searching for missing goods and persons, co...
