Role description:
The Selector inspects and packs glass containers on production lines.
Responsibilities:
Reselect and/or replace ware as required Visually inspect glass containers for defects to ensure conformance to specifications Inspect cartons and interiors for damage and pack acceptable ware into specified shipping containers Discard defective ware into cullet conveyor or proper receptacle for removal Unjam carton and ware conveyor systems equipment and case packers to maintain the flow of product Report defects and machine malfunctions to Auditors and Supervisor Maintain safety through good housekeeping and good work methods HousekeepingOther production duties as assigned Minimum skills / qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Effective communication skills Must be able to stand for 8 hours
