SEN Teaching Assistant (Mainstream Settings)

Job Description

New Directions Education is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in welcoming mainstream primary schools across the Harrogate area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs while gaining experience in a variety of school settings.

The Role:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN within mainstream classrooms
Supporting children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Working closely with the class teacher to adapt learning activities
Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Assisting with behaviour support and emotional regulation
