SEND Family Support Worker

This role is ideal for individuals who are adaptable, calm, and curious, with a strong passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our SEND Family Support Workers provide direct support to children and families both in the home and within school settings. The role involves completing assessments and reviews, delivering parent drop‑in sessions, and offering practical advice and strategies to support SEND‑related behaviour management. An enhanced barred list DBS check is required for this post.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. social care, health or childcare), OR substantial experience providing direct support to SEND families that demonstrates experience, skills, competencies, and knowledge.
