SEND Support Assistant | Primary SEND Classroom | September Start

We’re looking for a patient, caring SEND Support Assistant to join the SEND classroom at a Primary School in the centre of Newcastle from September. This role is all about helping children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn in a setting designed to meet their individual needs.

If you’re calm under pressure, encouraging by nature, and love seeing children build confidence step by step, this could be a brilliant fit.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting pupils within the SEND classroom with their learning and development
• Helping children stay engaged with activities and classroom routines
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and support staff
• Supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
