Senior Account Payable Officer at AT Ghana

JOB FUNCTION:

• The successful candidate will join our team as a Senior Accounts Payable Officer in the Finance Department.

• This individual will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and be responsible for managing vendor relationships.

• The Senior Accounts Payable Officer will have full ownership of the entire accounts’ payable operations, including invoice booking and vendor payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce internal controls around invoice approval, prevention of duplication of invoice, and segregation of duties.

• Invoice validation and initiation after thorough checks.

• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., VAT, withholding tax compliance where applicable).

• Ensure appropriate approvals and compliance with company policy.
