Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

+ Performing daily inventory reconciliations across multiple locations and systems

+ Researching and resolving volume, inventory, and transaction discrepancies

+ Monitoring inventory movements and ensuring data accuracy

+ Analyzing inventory-related activity and identifying issues requiring follow-up

+ Supporting transportation cost tracking and reconciliation efforts

+ Working closely with operations, logistics, and accounting teams

+ Assisting with reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 2–5+ years of contract accounting experience (level commensurate with experience)

+ Prior experience in the fuel, energy, or commodities industry preferred

+ Strong knowledge of GL accounting, including CIP, LIFO, and exchange transactions
