Job Title: Senior Accountant – Real Estate
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Experience: 5–8 years in real estate/construction accounting
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong experience in real estate accounting. You will handle day-to-day accounting, ensure compliance with RERA and GST, manage taxation, and oversee payables and vendor payments. The ideal candidate understands project-based accounting, escrow mechanisms, and developer compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Real Estate & RERA Accounting
· Maintain books of accounts for multiple projects as per RERA guidelines
· Track project-wise inflows, expenses, and cost allocation in line with RERA rules
· Prepare and reconcile RERA escrow account statements and 70:30 withdrawal certificates
· Coordinate with auditors for RERA annual audit and Form 3, Form 5 certifications
