Senior Accountant – Pretoria

A well-established Accounting firm is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting functions and support the finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE, UIF and SDL returns via South African Revenue Service eFiling
• Monthly PAYE reconciliations and EMP501 submissions
• Processing of individual, company and CC income tax returns, including submission of financial statements
• Accounting processing up to trial balance
• Compiling of Annual Financial Statements on Draftworx
• Experience in company tax, individual tax and provisional tax
• Handling SARS queries, correspondence and supporting documentation
• Managing uFiling submissions
• Client communication, phone handling and general administration
• Pastel Partner, Xero, Sage online and Greatsoft program knowledge
