Senior Accounting Analyst - Fixed Assets

100% Onsite (Durant, OK) | Monday-Friday | 8:00AM-4:30PM
**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** Produce reliable monthly and annual financial statements for Choctaw Nation and applying analytical procedures to verify the financial data. You will report to the Accounting Manager Finance.
**Primary Tasks:**
1. You will create monthly and annual financial statements from the general ledger. Perform procedures that verify the accuracy.
2. Apply accounting theory to financial information, prepare financial reports and interpret the meaning of accounting data.
3. Work with independent auditors, provide financial data and supply supporting schedules and documents.
4. Create financial summaries that will be published on websites, newspaper,and other public sources.
5. You will perform auditing procedures on material transactions and ensure treatment per generally accepted accounting principles.
