Senior associate counsel (xico) (valle de chalco solidaridad)

Position based in Mexico City, reporting to the Sr. Counsel, Legal, Mexico. The attorney will provide commercial and regulatory legal support to Visa’s growing business in Mexico.

Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements in English and Spanish, with a particular focus on consultancy agreements for the Visa Consulting and Analytics team. Leverage AI tools to create templates and optimize processes for agreement drafting, negotiation, and execution, and develop or adapt standard documents to local requirements. Coordinate and supervise outside counsel on corporate matters to ensure timeliness, cost‑effectiveness, and excellence of service and work product. Request and approve shareholder minute meetings and coordinate their execution to comply with local law and business needs. Develop and execute trainings on relevant legal topics for internal clients to promote efficient cross‑functional collaboration.
