Job Description
Our client in Paarl is seeking an experienced, energetic, and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join their finance team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the bookkeeping function, is highly organised, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting directly to the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for the full bookkeeping function across multiple companies, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the finance department's day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform debtors, creditors, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations across four companies.
Complete intercompany reconciliations.
Capture and process financial transactions in Sage.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
Prepare and submit VAT returns.
Prepare supplier payment schedules.
