Our client, a decades-old manufacturer in the aerospace industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to manage the procurement of materials, supplies, and services to support operational goals out of their Pennsauken, NJ office.
This role is responsible for vendor management, contract negotiation, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable sources of supply
Manage procurement processes, including bid evaluation and supplier selection
Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance
Support production and operational needs through effective purchasing strategies
