Senior Clinical Midwife & WAU Lead

The New Zealand Government is seeking a Clinical Charge Midwife to join the Women’s Assessment Unit (WAU) and Day Assessment Unit team. This 15-bed unit provides acute gynaecology and maternity care 24/7. The successful candidate will work alongside midwives and nurses, with responsibilities including supporting newly qualified staff and ensuring patient safety.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of practice as a registered midwife and ideally hold a post-graduate qualification. We encourage applications from diverse communities.
