Senior Cloud Accountant - Johannesburg

Location: Office-based, Johannesburg (split between practice and client sites)

This is a client-facing Senior Accountant position, in a fast-growing cloud-first accounting practice. This isn’t a bookkeeping role - it’s full ownership of financial reporting, tax compliance, and client relationships across a multi-client portfolio.

What you’ll own Drafting annual financial statements and managing the full month-end close, including complex account allocations and journals in Xero Preparing monthly management accounts and interactive reporting packs using Syft Analytics Overseeing and performing company and income tax return submissions/reviews, plus all SARS returns (VAT, PAYE, Provisional Tax) Leading client meetings, drafting engagement letters, and managing the end-to-end client relationship Requirements
