 :Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Cost Control Engineer to join our team! You will support the Senior Cost Manager in implementing robust cost control and estimating practices across multiple active and future projects. The role involves developing cost estimates, analyzing budgets and variances, tracking progress against baselines, and maintaining cost databases and reports. The Cost Engineer will work within a PMO environment, liaising with the Client, PMCMs, contractors, and stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing:
Review material takeoffs on complex projects, drawings, and plans, and check for mathematical and technical accuracy.
Prepare detailed breakdown of components and elements of estimates for systems and subsystems.
Review contractual documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and scope changes.
