Senior Database Administrator

What you will be doing

• Installing database servers / databases, database patches and database upgrades and applications on servers.
• Performing routine administrative and maintenance tasks for the database environments/servers (e.g., backups and recovery, database refreshes, data fixes).
• Monitoring development, test and production databases to identify and report any backups, performance, space usage and security issues and recommend solutions.
• Maintaining the integrity and availability of the production database environments.
• Completing incident tickets as related to performance and failures.
• Providing first and second level database support.
• Reviewing “Requests for Changes” to implement applications and database changes in the development, test, training and production environments.
