Senior Design Engineer (Mechanical)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team, a leading firm specialising in the design and manufacture of waste management and municipal equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that make a real impact on communities and the environment. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Design and Development Lead the design and development of waste management and municipal equipment, ensuring all products meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed 2D, 3D models and technical drawings.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new designs and modifications.
Construct and maintain accurate BOMs and revision control systems, building a standard parts directory, material library and producing company engineering standards.
Project Management Oversee projects from concept through to production, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
