Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- BEng / BTech / National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in estimating within an engineering, EPC, or mineral processing environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, process plants, piping, structural steel, and fabrication
- Proven experience in compiling detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong commercial awareness and risk assessment capability
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical and process plant projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and client requirements to determine scope and pricing
- Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and pricing schedules
