Job Summary
The Senior Finance Officer - Payables is responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts payable functions of the organization. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Processing
Review and verify invoices and check requests.
Enter and upload invoices into the ERP Oracle system.
Ensure that invoices are approved by the relevant department before processing.
Payment Processing
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
Vendor Relations
Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Manage vendor accounts and maintain updated records.
