Senior Financial Accountant

Northpower is a New Zealand energy and infrastructure business with a strong growth trajectory. Beyond its core electricity distribution network, the business has expanded into energy services, fibre, hydro generation and solar, adding real complexity and scale to its finance function.

The Role

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Financial Accountant will own financial accounting end‑to‑end, from month‑end journals and balance sheet reconciliations through to consolidation, tax and annual financial statements. You will work within a 12‑person Finance and Planning team and have an Assistant Accountant to support you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close, including journals and integrity checks
