Our client within the manufacturing sector is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a 6 month contract basis. The successful individual will be responsible for the accounting, reporting, and internal control functions of the finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure statutory compliance and manage the accounting, reporting, and control functions of the Finance department.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and that all relevant standards are adhered to; implement processes and procedures for accurate reporting.
• Accurate month-end reporting within deadlines.
• Effectively manage the external audit, ensuring that audit deadlines are achieved.
• Review and ensure accurate Income Tax, VAT calculations and submissions, and assist with any taxation requests from the Finance Manager.
