Job Description
Join our team as a Senior Forwarding Controller and bring your forwarding expertise to ensure operational excellence. This role for our JHB Seafreight Branch.
Education
- Matric
- 3-year freight forwarding related qualification at NQF level 3 or NQF level 4 or equivalent.
Knowledge and experience
- 3 years import experience in the Clearing and Forwarding Industry in a clerical capacity
- INCO Terms
- To co-ordinate the freight movement of Import cargo through the international transport chain in terms of the client’s import requirements.
- Commercial, transport, carrier & depot and statutory body documents & stamps
- Product specific freight handling & movement requirements. Basic international trade principles
- Applicable sections of Import & Export control Act
