Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of the Office for Research and the Associate Dean, Research, the Senior Grants Specialist will have day-to-day responsibility for coordination and execution of pre-award and a set of post-award processes associated with the externally-funded grant portfolio at the Silver School of Social Work. Responsibilities include: Assist faculty with the preparation and submission of federally- and privately-funded research proposals. Secure the review and approval of faculty research proposals through the Silver Office of Research including coordination with the Institutional Review Board, Office of Sponsored Programs, Faculty Affairs, and other internal departments as needed.
