Senior Grid Planning & Strategy Engineer

The Senior Grid Planning & Strategy Engineer is the strategic architect responsible for aligning our BESS pipeline with Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR). You will translate high-level energy policy into physical infrastructure investment strategies, identifying exactly where the grid requires BESS to maintain stability. By analysing long-term demand and RE integration challenges, you will position the company as a Strategic Advisor to the TNB Grid System Operator (GSO) and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).

Key Responsibilities

• Policy-to-Infrastructure Translation: Analyse the NETR and Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) targets to identify the physical transmission upgrades and BESS capacities required to meet 700MW+ RE integration goals.
• Macro-Grid Stability & Planning: Perform regional load-flow and contingency ($N-1$) analyses using PSS/E or DIgSILENT. Identify Weak Grid nodes where BESS can provide synthetic inertia and voltage supp...
