Senior Lab Instructor

Position Purpose
Design, develop, and maintain a molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and bioinformatics laboratory at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Key Accountabilities

• Supervise and demonstrate laboratory experiments to undergraduate and graduate students.
• Design and develop new experiments for undergraduate and graduate-level molecular cell biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and bioinformatics laboratories.
• Develop protocols and laboratory manuals for newly designed experiments.
• Develop and administer graded instruments.
• Manage laboratory equipment and consumables, write reports, and perform other day-to-day teaching assignments.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in senior projects and thesis research.
