Senior Laboratory Technician - Fairfax, VA

Perform various microbial analyses of environmental air and water samples in accordance with standard EPA/ASTM methods and in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements and Identification and enumeration of fungal spores utilizing light microscopy.
+ Microbial analysis of environmental water samples.
+ Carry out daily/weekly laboratory housekeeping duties
+ Review and approve results of analysis
+ Generate reports of sample results and forward to relevant parties



+ Carry out all duties in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017

+ Identification and enumeration of fungal spores utilizing light microscopy.

+ Microbial analysis of environmental water samples

+ Execute all standard operating procedures for the analysis of field samples.

+ Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on laboratory equipment.
