Senior Liability Underwriter

The opportunity

We are currently looking for a Senior Liability Underwriter for our Liability department. This role involves underwriting large, complex or specialist cases to achieve new business and retention targets. The main focus is driving underwriting decisions, contributing to business development activities and liaising with customers and brokers. You will act as a senior member in the Spanish Liability team and point of contact for junior members.

Responsibilities

• Review allocated complex and/or large Liability cases and deliver underwriting decisions against company Plans and within agreed timeframes, securing profitable business within authority level and risk appetite.
• Take ownership and accountability of your Liability book of business of large and complex accounts and meet set KPI’s as per company Plans.
